fall winter 2021 menswear

isabel marant

isabel marant did not disappoint with her current collection and featured latest trends, like bucket hats and shackets. overall, it was nice to see such a wearable collection, for people who want to stay cozy and chic, especially as a lot of people are working from home-office due to coronavirus.

fendi

it was great to see, that the collection featured so many collars which gave automatically a very “done” look. as fur is so deeply rooted in fendis history, they did include a fur coat but other than that kept it at a minimum. i truly loved the lining details on the suits and jackets because they created a sort of 2D effect and made them stand out even more.

gmbh

with shifting away from the typical male silhouettes, the german label pulled through with their fw21 collection. they featured exhentuated waists, off-shoulder details, and clutches which were completely stunning, and not something you would expect in typical menswear.

jil sander

as someone who prefers dressing in neutral colors, jil sander was my highlight of this season. i loved seeing the chain details on coats, the textures of wool and satin colliding, and the well-crafted bags.

dries van noten

dries van noten featured very subtle colours as well. he paired his very clear designs with interesting materials like vinyl, which was used for a green bomber jacket and metal, for the ring details on bags and belts. i also loved seeing the blue-white striped shirts in a different, more modern way.

hermes

i loved the color combination of burgundy, dark turquoise, and mustard yellow and the very wearable designs. the collection included cozy knitwear, drawstring pants, and a very chic looking checked pattern coat and jacket.

louis vuitton

“fernweh” would be the most fitting word to describe the collection. virgil featured duffle bags, work attire, and very fun designs like a college jacket, extremely long coats, and skirts. for me personally, the the collection symbolizes a light at the end of the tunnel in these uncertain times.
